Community Involvement :: Support of Local Fire and Rescue Department
Clark Gas & Oil Co., Inc. is proud to support our local fire and rescue volunteers. On Saturday, May 13th, 2006, Woolwine Volunteer Fire Dept. celebrated a grand opening of their new state of the art fire station. Clark participated with an in-kind donation of the installation of a vent-free gas fireplace, ceiling infrared Rinnai tube heaters for the truck bays and an on-demand water heater that is efficient enough to supply both domestic hot water and allow heavy duty clean up in the bay area.
Clark Gas & Oil made a in kind donation to the Meadows of Dan Volunteer Fire Department and Vesta Rescue Squad with labor and materials to install a Rinnai Continuum on-demand water heater; which the fire department/ rescue squad building committee elected to run dedicated hot water lines to the truck bays. This enables them to have hot water preheated to 140°F for cleaning their apparatus as well as other needs. Clark also installed three 30' indirect infrared, vented tube heaters in the bays that provide heat for the fire and rescue trucks during harsh winter weather in the mountain.
